Thanksgiving 2008: Take Two

We had Thanksgiving at my parents' house the Saturday following Thanksgiving with the whole family. My poor mother made all of the food ahead of time and froze everything, heating it up in the oven two hours before everyone arrived. Unfortunately, the stuffing and mashed potatoes were still frozen solid...thank goodness for microwave ovens...at least it turned out to be a funny story!

Husband: The Crazy

My Dear Cousin in all her loveliness.

My Daddy is the cutest.

Grandma and me. Her birthday was just a few days earlier, the day after her 61st wedding anniversary.

Megan and our maternal grandfather.

Just me. Possibly praying that the congenial atmosphere continues.

Nice documenting of both your Thanksgivings. I know what you're thinking: "stop replying and get to blogging!". I will eventually. I have some funny and gross ideas but I don't feel like posting them just yet.

Tell Megan (if she cares) that her new hair color looks nice on her. I don't recall her being that color last time I saw her anyways. I don't know if it was just the picture but Kyle's goate looked funky. Maybe I just choose to remember him without a goate, who knows.

Have a lovely Monday. It's a shame you guys aren't in town since I have the day off as well.

Yes, definitely get to blogging so I have something to distract myself with:)

I'm surprised you noticed Megan's hair color, haha. She just colored it this week. It makes her eyes stand out more, I noticed, but I liked her original hair color, too.

We're having a lazy day at home today, happy to not be at work/in Laffy. I'm getting ready to make some snickerdoodles! Perhaps we can get together for dinner sometime soon!
